I finally got time to try out a couple of the dolly patterns in a mag I bought at the Festival de Patchwork in Sitges in March.  They are really fun to make especially as they need quite small scraps of fabric - so ideal stash busters!

I'm really enjoying making a series of pinafore dresses for my gorgeous little granddaughter.  The 2 versions here, above and below, are variations on the same very simple pattern.  The bodice is lined and so is an ideal candidate for using a contrasting fabric on the inside.  The pretty floral fabric is a one way-stretch and the red/blue check is a seersucker.

I've also been plum jamming!
