The trip to the Ariege on Monday/Tuesday was enjoyable with plenty of views to admire along the way. |
| The cathedral at Chartres is looking magnificent after its recent clean up work. Its spires can be seen from many miles away over the thousands of hectares of surrounding flat wheatfields. |

| Pierre Buffiere is a very scenic place for a stopover. The 'healthy' local mineral water should be taken sparingly though! |
