There's still plenty of snow for raquette walking and cross-country skiing at Plateau de Beille, Ariege despite the recent warm weather.  The scenery isn't bad either as shown by this photo taken a couple of days ago.  It's great skiing in a short-sleeved T shirt instead of a bulky ski jacket!

Tarascon sur Ariege is nicely snuggled in the warm sunshine well below the snowline.  The météo forecasts another sunny day for tomorrow.
